Open an Account
A resident Pakistani with a valid CNIC can open an account digitally, or at the head office in Lahore. Overseas Pakistanis can invest through a Roshan Digital Account.
Requirements
What you need to hand
- CNIC copy of the account holder
- CNIC copy of the nominee
- CNIC copies of two male witnesses
- One passport-size photograph
- Proof of IBAN, a copy of a cheque
- Evidence of source of income (see the table below)
- Customer verification by biometric or OTP
- A mobile number registered in the applicant’s own name

Opening without an income document
A Sahulat Account can be opened with CNIC, a registered mobile number, an IBAN and your mother’s name. An investment ceiling set by the exchange applies. Ask the desk to set it up on the compliant universe.
Source of income
Accepted evidence by category
The exchange requires a broker to establish the source of funds. What counts depends on what you do.

The process
From application to first order
Apply digitally or at the office
Use the digital account opening portal, or book an appointment at 6 Shadman, Lahore.
Confirm the compliant universe
Tell us the account is to run on the screened universe, so it is set up on Namaa Capital from day one.
Verification and review
Identity is confirmed by biometric or OTP, and the compliance desk reviews your documents.
Account live
Once approved, the account is tradeable within two working days and terminal credentials are issued.
